This research laboratory is part of the Division of Rehabilitation ( Service de Reeducation) at the Department for Clinical Neurosciences (Neuclid) of the University Hospital of Geneva. Our research group conducts group and case studies of patients with cognitive dysfunctions after brain damage as well as studies on cognitive mechanisms in healthy participants. Main current research topics are: (1) mechanisms and rehabilitation of memory disorders, in particular spontaneous confabulation; (2) organization of normal language and rehabilitation of aphasia; (3) mechanisms and rehabilitation of hemispatial neglect. Additional projects concern aspects of musical processing after brain damage and apraxic disorders.

We use experimental neuropsychological evaluation and, most recently, brain mapping using high-density EEG recordings allowing electrical source analysis.
