Groupe de Recherche en Hémodynamique.
Le "Groupe de Recherche en Hémodynamique" (GRH), a été fondé en 2008 par le Dr. K Bendjelid, médecin adjoint agrégé aux soins intensifs (Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève). Le GRH a pour but de
promouvoir l'enseignement post-grade et la recherche appliquée en Hémodynamique.
Le GRH promeut une recherche animale et humaine centrée sur la physiologie appliquée à la pratique clinique. Le domaine de travail principal du GRH concerne la prise en charge hémodynamique précoce, efficiente et moins invasive des patients au bloc opératoire et en réanimation. La première étape de ce projet a été de considérer l'hémodynamique comme un système composé de deux éléments: la macro-circulation, responsable de générer un débit sanguin chargé d'oxygène et la micro-circulation, responsable de distribuer ce débit aux différents tissus. En conséquence, le GRH a mis en place deux sous-groupes de développement spécifique. La complémentarité des deux sous-groupes a permis par la suite d'identifier des thèmes de recherches majeurs comme la réponse au remplissage vasculaire, le développement des techniques de monitoring hémodynamique et d'échographie ainsi que l'étude des situations de découplage macro-microcirculatoire. Cette seconde étape a nécessité le développement d'expérimentations animales. Actuellement le groupe est à la recherche d'étudiants ayant un Master en physiologie et voulant accomplir une thèse de science (Ph.D).
