Valeur prédictive du Amino-terminal brain natriuretic peptide et de la protéine C-réactive sur la récidive de fibrillation et/ou de flutter auriculaire après ablation par cathéter de
radiofréquence.

Il est crucial de rechercher un marqueur des chances de succès d'une ablation par cathéter pour le fibrillation auriculaire afin de mieux sélectionner les patients qui peuvent bénéficier de cette procédure compte tenu des risques de complications potentielles et des ressources nécessaires à l'intervention. Les taux plasmatiques de NP, tels que l'atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) et le brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), diminuent aussi bien après cardioversion d'un flutter que d'une FA, quelle que soit la méthode de cardioversion (spontanée, médicamenteuse ou électrique). Les NP sont par conséquent très probablement des marqueurs de récidive de FA ou de flutter dans ce collectif sélectionné de patients susceptibles de bénéficier d'une ablation. Les NP et de CRP, une marquer de inflammation, n'ont encore jamais été étudiés dans la FA chez des patients qui bénéficient d'une PRCAAF. Le but de cette étude multicentrique est de déterminer si les taux plasmatiques de NT-proBNP et/ou de CRP, dosés avant une ablation pour fibrillation auriculaire, ont une valeur prédictive sur la première récidive de fibrillation ou de flutter auriculaire sur un suivi de 6 mois.
