Migration cellulaire

Nous cherchons à comprendre les méchanismes qui contrôlent la migration cellulaire. Notre but est de comprendre comment les facteurs de croissance, via leurs présentation et distribution spécifiques, contrôlent l'adhésion et la migration cellulaires liées aux récepteurs de la famille des intégrines. Nous utilisons des cellules de la ligne des mélanocytes, qui incluent notamment des mélanomes. Les informations obtenuent grâce à notre recherche iront au bénéfice des patients présentant des mélanomes mais aussi des cancers en général. Nous sommes spécifiquement attirés par le problème de la dissémination des cellules tumorales qui aboutit à la formation des métastases, mais aussi par le problème de l'induction de la vascularisation par des tumeurs en croissance.
