Organisation de la membrane plasmique des cellules hématopoiétiques

Notre laboratoire s'intéresse à l'organisation de la membrane plasmique des cellules hématopoiétiques, et plus particulièrement à la fonction des microdomaines enrichis en sphingolipids, ou rafts. Cette entité nouvelle a été reconnue dans la membrane plasmique de cellules polarisées et non-polarisée, et résulte d'interactions entre sphingolipides. Les interactions menant à la formation de rafts implique les chaînes acylées des ceramides entrant dans la composition des gangliosides, de la sphingomyéline et des protéines GPI-liées. Ces lipides forment des agrégats supramoléculaires ou "rafts" dans le feuillet externe de la membrane plasmique and permettent l'interaction fonctionelle des diverses protéines impliquées dand la signalisation transmembranaire et d'adhésion.
