Synapsis Foundation - Call of Proposals 2012

The Synapsis Foundation (www.synapsisfoundation.ch) has launched a Call for Proposals 2012 at the beginning of May.

The submission deadline for this Call is 31st July, 2012.


The goal of the Synapsis Foundation is to support innovative research projects on Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Within this Call, the priority will be given to support PhD and postdoctoral projects that are carried out at Swiss universities and research institutions.

Topics for the research projects should cover one of the following areas:

Basic research in genetics, molecular and cell biology of Alzheimer's disease and related dementing illnesses

Innovative approaches towards the pre-symptomatic diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

We welcome high-risk proposals based on sound science and on truly original ideas.
